Volodymyr Radko was born in Cherkasy region, Ukraine in 1951. He is a graduate of Grekov’s College of Art, Odessa and Kyiv State Academy of Art. Volodymyr Radko lives and works in Kyiv. Radko’s illustrious, allegorical but at the same time “well-spoken” paintings provoke our esthetic senses intrigued by figures, objects and ornaments that speak in eye, symbol, and mindset language. His latest project of seven Rembrandt portraits was exhibited at Texas Contemporary in Houston, TX in October of 2019 and all 7 paintings from this series sold.
